In a high functioning world we are almost 24/7. Managing a work/life/family balance we never really have the time to be yourself.

Stress plays havoc with our wellbeing and has an affect on our cortisone levels which leads to stored fat around the body. A de-stress massage with aromatherapy/CBD oil, hot stones and a pressure you can relax into allows the body to stop running on adrenaline. A reset button.

Working do deadlines within work and having to deal with unreasonable people keeps your adrenaline high, when this happens you get adrenaline overload and you’re continually in flight and fight mode. This is amplified when you have multiple tasks, never giving yourself time to move onto the next task, without feeling a sense of personal acknowledgment of a job well done.

With balancing work then coming home to a family, the family demands keep coming and you dutifully find a way forward putting others before you. It is only when you read to your child or put your head on the pillow that you finally slow down and switch off.
